This Fashionista was chosen as our “Fashionista of the Day in Pearls” because she combined pearls and overalls effortlessly to make an adorable look.

Natalie, fashion blogger of Natalieast.com, showed off her style with a striped shirt, overalls from Topshop, Red Vara Bow Flats by Salvatore Ferragamo and a beautiful Pearl necklace from Forever 21!

Natalie shared her insight on why she united each item: “I layered the overalls over a simple striped shirt that is a neutral backdrop, while the stripes give some interest. WORST DRESSED AT BET AWARDS 2014: Keke Palmer

LOS ANGELES (June 29, 2014)– We have no idea what the beautiful 20-year-old, Keke Palmer was thinking when she attended the 2014 BET Awards wearing  this white and gold Alon Livne mini dress, but it landed her on our worst dressed list for Pearls Only.

We always loved her sweetheart style, but this mini dress with bold hip cutouts does not fit the young lady’s usual classy and chic style which makes her seem a little desperate to be seen as a sex symbol.

In contrary to the fashion miss, her face and hair looks beautiful and very natural. read more

Are pearls sexy? On most occasions, pearls are worn as a symbol of class, professionalism, and sophistication. We see women of power like the First Lady of the United States in pearls; English Royalty and other country women have been spotted in pearls; and let’s not forget women who are lawyers, doctors, and educators who have been seen adorning the precious jewel. Not often are we exposed to pearls in an exotic fashion, or have we?

There was also Rihanna who stunned onlookers in Paris when she attended a fashion show for Chanel, dressed in a crème colored duster, pearls and not much to the imagination.
